Growing up in a military family, Jeremy has lived all over the world. He was Born in Guam and grew up in California & Texas. When he turned 18 he joined the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years before an injury overseas forced him to medically retire as a staff sergeant. The Air Force gave him the opportunity to live in Italy, Hawaii, & North Dakota. After his departure from the Air Force he lived in Kansas, Louisiana, and of course Oklahoma. Jeremy met his wife Kayla in Lawrence, Kansas 15 years ago. After they tied the knot in 2010 they set their sites on Texas. While living in Austin, Jeremy served as a project manager for a prestigious architecture firm where he learned the in’s & out’s of commercial real estate. Later he went on to work for Nordstrom as a multi store loss prevention manager and was consistently one of the top managers in the country. Eventually, Jeremy knew he wanted to move away from the corporate grind. A close family friend in Bartlesville offered him a job at a sawmill and kiln drying company. As a teenager Jeremy worked on his grandparents ranch and did several construction jobs. He loves creating something with his hands and putting in the work. His talent is carpentry. Jeremy designed and built exquisite furniture, timber frame homes, & lodges. Working at a sawmill came with injuries & surgeries, and with his past injuries still causing him trouble his doctor told him it’s time for a change. His wife Kayla joined The Atkinson Home Team in 2020, and got her brokers license in 2022. After talking about starting a real estate team together, it’s now coming to fruition. Together this duo knows each other’s strengths & will use them to educate, prep, stage, negotiate, and provide top tier customer service to every client. Jeremy & Kayla look forward to working together to serve the home buyers & sellers of Bartlesville.
